Location and Public Transport

The apartments are very centrally located for public transport. They are adjacent to Deansgate rail station and Deansgate-Castlefield Metrolink station (with lift access to both).
Many bus services stop nearby, including the free, accessible, city centre Metroshuttle.
Manchester operates a city centre Shopmobility service 7 days a week - see www.shopmobilitymanchester.org.uk

Metered parking bays (normal max stay Mon-Sat before 8.00pm is 3 hours) are immediately outside the apartments. There are normally vacant bays available during charged hours.
Longer stay parking, barrier controlled or fully secure, is a few minutes walk away - full details are provided on booking.
On-site barrier controlled parking can normally be arranged, subject to availability and an additional charge.

There are about 10 external steps from street level to the main entrance. However these can be avoided by entering by the rear door of the building, on the same level as the street, and taking the lift from the basement floor.
All external doors (main and rear) are wheelchair width, as are internal passageway doors. All doors are side hung.
The lift connects the basement, ground (entrance) and upper (apartment) floors. Lift doors are automatic, all controls are touch sensitive.

All internal doors are at least 70cm wide, all side hung.

One apartment has a large bathroom with space for a wheelchair - please request this when booking if required
All bathrooms have standard height baths with a shower over the bath
There are no grabrails over or round the bath, however a suction grab rail is available in the lodge for attachment if required
There is a intercom and remote door control for letting guests into the building
Flooring is wood laminate throughout, except for bathrooms which are tiled
